Our children’s ministry is designated by Infants (0-2), Toddlers (2-3), Pre-K (3-4), and Children (grades K-4). But to better understand what our family ministry is about, we have a brief overview of our vision for children's and family ministry at Rhythm.
In the Bible, God has clearly designed families to be the primary context where spiritual growth happens. Parents spend the most time with their children and are the most influential people in their children's lives. While parents are considered the primary spiritual leaders of their children, many are uncertain how to lead their children in a Godly way. Maybe their parents weren't Christians. Maybe they don't know much about the Bible.
Rhythm Kids is designed to equip parents to be the spiritual leaders of their households. The children's messages line up with the message that the parent is hearing during Rhythm's worship service. For example, if Rhythm's worship service is about the story of David and Goliath, Rhythm Kids message will also be about David and Goliath. After the service, parents and children will both have learned about the same message, providing opportunities for the parents to have common ground to talk about and lead their children throughout the week.
